Divorce
Arizona is considered a "no fault" divorce state which means (in most cases) the only required grounds for dissolution is that the marriage is irretrievably broken and there is no reasonable prospect for reconcilation. To file for a dissolution of marriage, one of the parties must meet the residency requirement. This requires one of the parties to have lived in Arizona for a minimum period of 90 days prior to filing the petition. We can process all the paperwork quickly and inexpensively including Child Support Modification.

Last Will & Testament
If you're like most people you don't have millions of dollars in assets or a major corporation to pass onto your loved ones. But what you do have is even more valuable to them. If you should die without a will the Government will settle your estate for you. Don't let a stranger make those choices for you and your family. Putting together a will can be easier than you think. Let us help you relieve that strain by creating a simple, straight forward will for you and/or your spouse.
Living Will/Medical Power of Attorney
A living will is a document in which a person expresses a wish and issues an instruction that his or her life not be prolonged by artificial or extraordinary measures in the event of an incurable injury, illness or disease. This type of will does not involve disposing of one's property. Oftentimes, a living will is prepared at the time a will is prepared. A living will prepared by Lea Lagas' office also includes a health care power of attorney which designates someone which you appoint, to make health care decisions for you if you are unable to do it yourself.
Durable Power of Attorney
Power of Attorney is a legal document which empowers a person or persons to act in the name of and on behalf of the person who has granted the power of attorney. The document will usually set out the extent of the power of attorney which may range from a general power to undertake any action to very limited and specific tasks.
